About Us
We stay pretty busy here at ThyssenKrupp Access, typically keeping conversations minimal and focused on weekly projects, jobs that need to get done or our current progress with a given task. Even during lunch breaks, our employees tend to work at their desks or rush to their cars to grab a quick bite to eat. But have you ever taken the time to learn some of the neat things about the people who work here?
Doug Terry, our ThyssenKrupp Access Receiving Clerk, played football for the University of Kansas and was Safety for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1992 to 1995. His son, Keeston, currently plays football for the Jayhawks as their Wide Receiver. And Mike Tricomi (in purchasing) has a son, Justin Tricomi, who is the drummer for the Republic Tigers – a band whose music has appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and countless other popular TV dramas, as well as a live appearance by the band on the David Letterman Show. But now we can add another to the list. Robert Mangold, Shipping Manager, has gotten the opportunity to serve as an extra in the locally produced film, Three Blind Saints. Attaboy Media Productions, an Emmy award winning Lee’s Summit company that specializes in family-friendly and faith-based entertainment, chose several locals to mix along with their Los Angeles professionals to help make the film.
